Yazid Zinedine Zidane as his full name, was the son of Algerian immigrants. They had five children and Zidane was the youngest. He was born in 1972 on the 3rd of June in Marseilles, France. He always has loved football aswell as judo and tennis. He has become well known as Zizou as he grew up and became a professional football player. His first club he played for was AS Cannes which he joined in 1989 when he was just 17. When scoring his first goal he won a Renault Clio from Alain Pedretti the club's president. Later he moved to Bordeaux and then Juventus. In 2000 Zidane won European Championship Medal and got his second FIFA World Player of The Year award. The last move Zidane went through was to Real Madrid. In 2002 they won the champions league final with the help of Zidane. Now 32 Zidane is still playing for Real Madrid and France and has a wife called Véronique and three children called Enzo, Luca and Theo. Zidane is a great playmaker in midfield and very skillful at distributing the ball and even scoring. He is my number 1. |
